"really?" Fern's tail began to wag. "What would you think of us joining? Felix, quit staring at her!" Fern nipped her friend's upper left front leg. "Ow! What did I do? I didn't even say anything!!!" Felix grumbled. "Well, me anyway, I think Felix already screwed his chance." Said Fern.

Fern silenced herself and listened. "Naomi, what do we need to do?" Fern wanted to help prove herself... and keep Felix out of trouble.

"Get more food." Felix responded. "Felix, we just ate!" Said Fern. "So what? Your meal may have been good, but to a guy like me, that was scraps!" "It was scraps, Felix." Felix headed out of the alleyway. "Still, I'm gonna search around. Wanna come, Naomi?" Fern shook her head. "I have absolutely no idea why I hang around him." She grumbled as she followed her friend/enemy.

Felix glanced around. The hotdog stand was now deserted, and shut up. "Hey Naomi, I think I know how to get in one of those things." He said. "Watch this." He dashed over there and, using all his strength, pushed the cart over. It made a loud crash, and Felix ran off whimpering. Once he had regained his composure, he smelled the hotdog stand. "See? Unlimited hotdogs." The fall had miraculously broken the lock, spilling hot dogs everywhere.

Fern stepped up to the cart. "Saved you some." Felix said as he gobbled down some more hotdogs. "Thanks, who are the dogs over there?" Fern said as she daintily nibbled a hotdog. "I dunno, but isn't Naomi just... awesome?" Felix said, staring at Naomi again. "Felix, really? I was just KIDDING about the cute dogs earlier. She's probably NOT INTERESTED." Fern said. "What ya say?" Felix responded. "Never mind, you big idiot." Fern grumbled.
