Katherine looked around the room , "Man, i hate the rooms. There are no windows, which means no Open air, which means no birds to sing with." She sighed, missing the outside world.

"Hmm, I've lived in the city, so I dunno what that is like." Meg's eyes brightened when she heard of the roof. "When I was outside, I noticed that a part of the roof is flat. There has to be an entrance to that part!!" Meg finished fixing her make up and headed toward the door. "Come on, Kat!"

Katherine followed Meg into the hallway. "So where should we head first? The stairs?

"I guess so..." Meg bounded up the stairs. "See, a trapdoor." Meg pressed against it and growled, "Aaaand of course it is locked."

Katherine smiled at the easy task. "Why don't i just turn into a termite or a cockroach and craw through the cracks? Then i can unlock it form the other side an let you in!" SHe smiled at her idea and turned into a cockroach.

Jason asked looking up from the water at her as he held her hand, "And that would be...?"

Katherine was on the ground, looking up at her freakishly tall friend , "Ugh, I hate being a cockroach... its the one living creature i dislike." She crawled up the walls into the cracks of the wooden panels. Once she reached the other side, she smiled as she accomplished the first part of the task. Turning back into a girl, she unlatched the door, which only had a simple hook on it. "SO much for keeping us out," she mumbled, letting Meg in.

Jason arched his eye brow as he asked confused, "You say thats worse than being able to walk on water? Wow..."

Jason asked hoping he didn't seem to nosy, "Really? What could be painful about it?"

"I can see the whole world from up here.... holy..." There seemed to be a black fog around the whole property. "This is freaky..."

"WOw, even on the ROOF they won't let you look out. You'd think with all the powers people have here, SOMEONE could make a field to where you can look out but people can't look in... That would've been smarter," She grumbled. Shaking her head, she turned into a bird, and tried to fly out of the fog.

"I wouldn't do that! Who knows whats through that?!?" Meg said, looking around. She noticed randomly that if she dived straight down, she would land in the pool.

Kat ignored her and tried to fly through it, only to get a random shock through her body, and she turned back to a human. She fell hitting her head on a potted plant. That's when she noticed there was a rooftop garden up there. "How can these plants grow if there is no light?" she said as she looked at them, before she noticed the strange neon glow they produced.

Jason released her hand, the moment his skin was no long touching hers she collasped into the water. He had to stop himself from laughing, "Sorry!"

Mags falls in the water with her eyes open and quickly gets to surface and rubs her red looking eyes and says ''Its okay''

Kat looked around at the flowers. "Must be able to grow in darkness," She said solemnly. They weren't real plants, they were magical, just like everything else in this place.

Jason noticed her eyes were red and curses himself under his breath. He willed himself to drop into the water beside her. He helped her back to the edge where he pulled himself up and once again offered to help her up. "Sorry." He repeated knowing he had done something stupid, he could have at least taken her to the edge first! He scolded himself in his mind.

Mags opens her eyes slowly and climbs out of the pool and says''thanks''
